- Agneepath Scheme is an Pan India Merit Based Recruitment Scheme of Indian Army that enrolls Soldier , Airmen & Sailor.
- The Scheme provide opportunity for all youth to serve the mother land.
- The Selected soldier will be called Agniveers.
- The Soldier will be recruited for 4 Years of service on an Contract Basic including 6 months of Training Period.
- During 4 years of service Agniveer will be imparted with Various military skills discipline, Physical Fitness Courage, Team work Etc.
- After completion of 4years , 25% of the Agniveer will be made permanent for the full term of 15 years.
- In the first 4 years , the candidates will not be considered to give any pensionary benefits.
- After 4 years of service Agniveer can volunteer in the Indian Army.
